The Nichols College women's ice hockey team lost to Endicott College 5-0 in Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) action Saturday night at Levy Rink in Burrillville, Rhode Island.

The Gulls (3-0-0, 2-0-0 CHC) got off to a fast start scoring two goals in the first seven minutes of play in the first period. Courtney Sullivan and Jillian Gibbs scored for Endicott to give them the quick 2-0 lead over the Bison. Endicott then added a third goal just 36 seconds into the second period thanks to Sullivan again, adding her second of the game and third of the season.

Towards the end of the second period, the Gulls extended their lead to 4-0 when Kat Keith found the back of the net with an assist from Emma McDowell. With less then 30 seconds to play in the game, Michaela McNamara made it 5-0 and sealed the victory for Endicott.

-Jade Meier recorded three points in the game, assisting on three of the Gulls five goals.
-With today's win Endicott takes the weekend sweep.
-Junior goalie Abby Bassett turned aside 34 shots in the contest.
