The Nichols College women's basketball team fell to WPI 63-36 in non-conference action Tuesday evening at the Nichols Athletics Center in Dudley, Massachusetts.
The Engineers received 17 points (7-of-9) and two rebounds from Victoria Mirecki off the bench to help lead the way. Maddie Blake brought down a game-high eight rebounds, while piling on four assists and five points. Bailer Savage was second on the team dropping in nine points for the Engineers. WPI held the Bison to just 18% shooting in the contest while also holding the Bison to single digit scoring in both the first and third quarters.
Nichols was led by junior
Isabella Nerney, she poured in a team-high eight points and brought down four rebounds in the contest. Freshman
Gina Parmenter put up six points while
Erin Cann scored her first collegiate points (5) in 11 minutes of action.
