Nichols comes up short against Curry

Junior Nate Foster scored his first goal of the season in Nichols College's 8-1 loss to Curry College Saturday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's ice hockey action at Levy Rink.
 
Sophomore Alex Ochterbeck and senior Billy Vizzo each scored twice for the Colonels (7-1-0, 5-1-0 CCC), who went 2-for-4 with the man advantage. Sophomore Mic Curran dished out three assists for Curry.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -Graduate student J.B. Baker and sophomore Lucas Andersson were credited with assists on Foster's marker.
            -Nichols won 44 of 71 face-offs (.620), led by sophomore Curtis Carlson and freshman Austan Bellefeuille with eight wins each.
            -All three netminders dressed for Nichols College – junior Matt Efros, sophomore Brett Epp, and freshman Korbinian Lutz – appeared in the contest Epp started and allowed five goals on 14 shots.
