Alexis Finnerty scored 18 points in Nichols College's 93-51 loss to MIT in non-conference women's basketball action Wednesday night at the Nichols Athletic Center in Dudley, Massachusetts.
The Bison were led by Finnerty who scored 18 points on 7-of-16 shooting, including four rebounds. Classmate
Gina Parmenter scored a career-high 16 points, while hitting a team-high three shots from beyond the arc. Junior
Shannon St. Lawrence brought down a team-high seven rebounds while also picking up one block.
The Engineers received a huge effort from Annika Sougstad who filled the stat sheet picking up 20 points, 10 rebounds and five steals to lead MIT. The Engineers had double digit scorers from five other players; Cindy Si (15 points), Jocelyn Luizzi (13 points), Paula Pieper (12 points), Anna Broski (14 points) and Trinity Gao (10 points).

-The Engineers shot 45% from the field, while hitting 13 three pointers.
-Finnerty has now scored in double digits in each of her first four career games.
-Today's game marked the 15th all-time meeting between the two programs.
