Nichols outshoots Gulls in loss

Recap
Freshman Hunter Fraser scored his first collegiate goal in Nichols College's 3-1 loss at Endicott College Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
 
Graduate student J.B. Baker and sophomore Justin Perron assisted on the goal for the Bison, who outshot the Gulls 32-25 on the afternoon. Junior netminder Matt Efros turned aside 22 saves in defeat.
 
The Bison trailed 2-0 entering the third when Fraser's marker cut the NC deficit to 2-1 with 8:15 remaining in regulation. Endicott extended its lead to 3-1 just over four minutes later.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -Baker extended his point streak to five games (3-4-7) and now has 94 points in 81 career games.
            -Nichols was 0-for-9 with the man advantage.
            -Conor O'Brien recorded 31 shots to earn his second victory over the Bison in less than 24 hours.
