Three things you need to know...
-Today's contest marked the second all-time meeting between Nichols College and Adrian College. The Bulldogs won the inaugural meeting in Norwich, Vt. on January 1, 2011 by a score of 7-3, and they now lead the series 2-0-0.
-Arnberg – who missed a chunk of time last season due to injury – scored a goal in the final game of last season, an overtime loss to Endicott in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Quarterfinals. As a result, he now has a two-game point streak.
-Mangone's assist was the 15th of his career, placing him fifth on the team in career apples behind
J.B. Baker (52),
Vincent Crivello (36),
Hogan Davidson (36), and
Filip Virgili (19).
Quote
"We didn't have a great start to the game tonight and kind of chased the game after that. You can't dig yourself those kind of holes against teams of that caliber. We're learning every day and are working to get better. I have no doubt this group will respond tomorrow." –Nichols head coach
Parker Burgess
