The Nichols College men's soccer team defeated Lasell University 3-1 in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon on Vendetti Field in Dudley, Massachusetts.

The Bison (8-4-1) who celebrated Senior Day were led by senior Jonathan Ingram who picked up his first two goals of his senior season and an assist as the Bison rolled to a 3-1 win. Senior Jacob Sargent opened the scoring in the 11th minute. The Lasers (1-12-0) held the Bison to just the one goal in the first half despite being outshot 11-1 in the half.

The Bison added two more goals in the second half, courtesy of Ingram. One in the 54th minute and another in the 71st minute. Lasell broke into the scoring column late with a goal from Jalen Jones in the 76th minute.
 
Three things you need to know…
-The Bison outshot the Lasers 21-7 in the match.
-Six seniors were honored in a pregame ceremony; Juan Carlos De La Cruz, Ingram, Sargent, Brian Czuba, Corey McEvoy and Matt Baker.
-Today's match marked the fourth all-time meeting between the two programs. The Bison lead 4-0-0 all-time.
