The Nichols College women's tennis team defeated Emerson College and Curry College Saturday morning, both with a score of 9-0 at the Trent J. Scott Tennis Courts in Milton, Massachusetts.
Match One – Emerson 0, Nichols 9
The Bison (9-1) started off strong as they swept all three doubles spots, including two sweeps at the No. 2 doubles and No. 3 doubles led by seniors
Megan Nathanson and
Rachel McDonald who defeated their opponents at the No. 2 doubles, 8-0. The Bison then went on to sweep singles play 6-0, as they cruised to the 9-0 victory. Nichols swept the Lions (2-2) at four of the singles spots. Seniors

Juliana Herrera all picked up 6-0, 6-0 sweeps in singles play.
Match Two – Curry 0, Nichols 9
Nichols (10-1, 7-0 CCC) swept doubles play including picking up two 8-1 victories and an 8-0 victory at the No. 2 doubles, played by Nathanson and McDonald. Juniors
Amanda Costa and Herrera teamed up to take the No. 3 doubles 8-1. The Colonels (0-15, 0-7 CCC) failed to pick up a point as the Bison took all six singles matches. Settiwongse and Herrera both swept their opponents at the No. 1 and No. 3 singles respectively.
