Recap
The Nichols College women's soccer team lost to Western New England 3-2 Saturday morning in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Suprenant Field in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The Golden Bears (4-6-2, 1-0-1 CCC) got off to a hot start, netting three goals in the first 14 minutes to take a commanding 3-0 lead over the Bison (9-3-0, 1-2-0 CCC). The Golden Bears first three goals were scored by Lauren Leblanc, Kristin Decost and Allison Bruehwiler. Nichols broke into the scoring column after drawing a penalty in the box after a corner kick and graduate student Meghan Dunn netted her team-leading ninth goal of the season on the penalty kick.
