Fighting Scots defeat Bison in three

Sophomore Rachael Veilleux handed out 13 assists in Nichols College's 3-0 loss at Gordon College Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's volleyball action at the Bennett Center.
 
Freshman Chardae Saunders paced the Bison (11-11, 0-6 CCC) with five kills. Freshmen Madison Perrotti and Abigail Mayuri each collected six digs while senior Megan Gardner racked up a pair of service aces.
 
Amanda Snyder recorded 12 kills (.526 hitting pct.) to lead the Fighting Scots (13-11, 4-3 CCC).
 
Three things you need to know...
            -The Fighting Scots won game one 25-5, game two 25-15, and game three 25-19.
            -Sophomore Jayleen Fegan is second in service aces/set (0.62) and eighth in digs/set (3.70) in the CCC.
            -The Fighting Scots posted a .452 hitting pct.
