The Nichols College women's soccer team lost to the University of New England 3-1 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon on the NC Soccer Field in Dudley, Massachusetts.
The Nor'Easters (9-5-2, 4-3-0 CCC) scored quickly, just six minutes into the game with a goal from Caroline Wilson, her second of the season. The goal was assisted by Katie Beaudoin. UNE went on to outshoot Nichols 8-4 in the first half as they entered halftime with a 1-0 lead.
UNE scored eight minutes into the second half with an unassisted goal from Beaudoin, her third of the year to give the Nor'Easters the 2-0 lead. Nichols chipped away at the 2-0 lead with a goal from sophomore
Maegan Roy, her fourth of the season. UNE added an insurance goal in the 79
th minute to cap off the 3-1 conference win.
