The Nichols College women's soccer team lost to Gordon College 4-0 Wednesday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Vendetti Field in Dudley, Massachusetts.
The Fighting Scots (13-3-3, 7-1-0 CCC) scored late in the first half to take the 1-0 halftime lead over the Bison. Sophomore Casey Miller scored her first goal of the season off a corner kick from Devin Lacroix that was deflected by Monet Marshall. Gordon led the way in the first half in the shots column, out shooting Nichols 13-0 by the end of the half.
The Fighting Scots came out fighting in the second half scoring two early goals to extend their lead to 3-0. Kyra Skurcenski scored her third goal of the season followed by the second goal of the game for Miller just a minute after. Lexi Potter and Lacroix added assists on the Gordon goals. Miller added a third goal to complete the hat trick at the 68:02 mark in the game as the Fighting Scots extended their lead to 4-0.

Three things you need to know…
-The Bison end the 2019 campaign with an 10-9-0 record. The first winning record since 2010 when they finished 12-6-1 overall.
-Graduate student
Meghan Dunn finishes her career with 73 points, which is ninth all-time in program history.
-The Bison defense gave up 30 goals this season, that is the third fewest allowed in program history.
