Senior Erin Kelley scored her fifth goal of the season in Nichols College's 2-1 loss at Gordon College Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) field hockey action at the Brighton Complex.
 
The Fighting Scots held a 1-0 halftime lead before Kelley's marker 3:38 into the second half knotted the score at one. Natalie Adamez potted the game-winner for Gordon less than five minutes later.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -NC senior Brooke Misbach entered the contest No. 8 in the NCAA in saves/game with 10.46. She finished today's contest with eight.
            -The Bison and Fighting Scots each took 12 shots. The Bison held a 6-4 advantage in penalty corners.
            -Kieran Thompson scored the first goal of the match, her second of the season.
