The Nichols College men's soccer team defeated Fitchburg State 4-1 in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon on the NC Soccer Field in Dudley, Massachusetts.
The Bison (7-3-1) let up a goal early on when Yannick DePina netted his second goal of the season, with an assist from Zachary Buckland. Nichols then went on to unload for three goals in the next 18 minutes. The first one to tie the game at one apiece was scored by senior
Corey McEvoy, followed by a goal from senior
Jacob Sargent and sophomore
Ryan Mangan to give the Bison a 3-1 lead.
Nichols added one more goal in the first half courtesy of freshman
John Fallon. Sophomores
James Chasco-Dimauro,
Matt Rainsford and freshman
Riley Donovan all picked up assists in the 4-1 victory.

-Sophomore
Dylan Woodside came in for his second appearance of 2019 for the Bison and made two saves in 16 minutes of play.
-Today's match marked the 26th all-time meeting between the two programs. The Bison have now won three in a row and lead the series 13-9-4.
-The Bison outshot the Falcons 17-16 in today's match.
