Lizz McKinnon scored a pair of goals in Nichols College's 3-2 overtime loss at Western New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Wednesday night at Golden Bear Stadium.

Erin Kelley added an assist for the Bison (3-7, 0-5 CCC) while senior
Brooke Misbach recorded 17 saves. Nichols trailed 1-0 at the break before McKinnon's seventh marker of 2019 tied the game at one at 38:14. Later in the third, she scored again to give the Bison a short-lived 2-1 lead.

After WNE tied the game seconds before the end of the third, Jacqueline Clark's second goal of the night 2:43 into overtime won it for the Golden Bears (5-4, 2-2 CCC).

Nichols was outshot 28-7 – including 4-0 in overtime.

            -McKinnon now has 28 career goals, which is nine shy of placing her into a tie for 10th place on the all-time goal scoring list.
            -Misbach now has 596 career saves, which is No. 2 all-time at Nichols behind only Gaelyn Sibbald (1994-97) with 811.
            -Nichols has lost back-to-back overtime games for the first time since 1984.
