Roger Williams shuts down Nichols

Recap
Freshman Allyson Tuxbury racked up five kills and six digs in Nichols College's 3-0 loss to Roger Williams University Wednesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's volleyball action at the Recreation Center Gymnasium.
 
The Bison (10-10, 0-4 CCC) also received five kills and two blocks from senior Megan Gardner, six digs and a pair of service aces from freshman Abigail Mayuri, and three kills and two blocks from classmate Chardae Saunders.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -The Hawks (9-10, 2-2 CCC) won game one 25-9, game two 28-26, and game three 25-17.
            -Sophomore Rachael Veilleux dished out 17 assists for Nichols.
            -Sophomore Jayleen Fegan collected five digs and is tied for 11th in the conference with 243. She is also No. 2 in service aces/set (.065).
