The Nichols College field hockey team was defeated by Endicott College 4-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Wednesday night at North Field in Beverly, Mass.
 
Senior Brooke Misbach stopped eight shots for the Bison (3-10, 0-8 CCC), who were outshot 24-5. The Gulls (11-4, 7-0 CCC) struck for goals in each of the first two periods to grab a 2-0 halftime lead before potting two more in the third.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -Freshman netminder Megan Fuchs appeared in her second collegiate game as she came on in relief of Misbach to start the fourth. She faced three shots, none of which made it on goal.
            -Sydney Poulin scored a pair of goals to pace Endicott.
            -Misbach continues to lead the conference in saves with 129.
