Senior Brooke Misbach stopped 11 shots in a 3-1 loss to the University of New England Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) field hockey action at Vendetti Field.
 
Freshman Mackenzie Doran potted her eighth goal of the season late in the fourth for the Bison (3-9, 0-7 CCC), who were outshot 21-4 on the afternoon. Junior Grace Grenier netted the eventual game-winner for the Nor'easters (7-7, 5-1 CCC) and also collected an assist.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -Doran is now tied for eighth in the conference in points (18). She shares the team lead in goals with junior Lizz McKinnon.
            -Misbach leads all CCC goaltenders in saves with 121.
            -Senior MacKenzie McDonald recorded her conference-best third defensive save for the Bison.
