The Nichols College women's basketball team lost to Gordon College 64-61 in an overtime thriller Saturday afternoon at the Nichols Athletics Center.
In what was a tight contest throughout, the Bison (3-9, 1-3 CCC) found themselves on the winning side at halftime as sophomore

Jessica Larsh each had a pair of threes and eight points to help propel the Bison to the 24-18 lead after two quarters. Sophomore
Shannon St. Lawrence recorded her first double-double of the year with a season-high 11 points and 11 rebounds.
The Bison had a three-point lead (55-52) over the Fighting Scots (5-9, 2-3 CCC) with 35 seconds left in the fourth quarter when senior Brooke Dyson drilled her second three of the game to tie the game at 55 apiece. A last-ditch effort at the buzzer for the Bison came up short as they headed to overtime. After losing three players due to fouls, the Bison would ultimately come up short in overtime being outscored 12-9.

-This was the first overtime game for Nichols since the 2017 season.
-Gordon junior Meghan Foley led all players with 26 points and 14 rebounds.
-The Bison turned the ball over a season low 11 times.
