McDonald broke a scoreless tie at the 13:00 minute mark of the second period with assists going to classmates
Brady Valiquette and
Noah Poindexter - the first points of their collegiate careers. Goals from Billy Vizzo at 4:15 and Michael Curran seven minutes later staked the Colonels (10-6-3, 5-4-2 CCC) to a 2-1 lead. Later in the stanza, Spencer's 13th career tally off a feed from junior
Vincent Crivello at 14:43 send the game to overtime.

            -Tonight's contest marked the 78th all-time meeting between Nichols College and Curry College. The Colonels lead the series, 46-29-3.

Ben Campbell appeared in his 100th career game this evening. The Duluth, Minn. native has amassed 45 points (13-32-35) during that span.
