Rebecca Cleary recorded her second double-double of the season with 10 rebounds and 10 points as the Nichols College women's basketball fell to Wentworth 45-41 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Thursday night in Boston, Massachusetts.

Isabella Nerney hit double-digit points for the seventh time this season after a 12-point effort in tonight's game, along with six rebounds and two assists. Classmate
Shannon St. Lawrence matched a season high in boards with 11.
The Leopards (2-13, 1-6 CCC) were led by sophomore Stephanie Mini who poured in 17 points along with eight rebounds in the winning effort. Classmate Molley Duclos recorded nine points and six rebounds herself.
The Leopards held a three-point advantage (37-34) with 4:33 left in the game. Nerney would get to the charity-stripe with two minutes left and would hit both shots to give the Bison the 40-39 advantage. Two lead changes later, Mini got fouled underneath by Cleary and hit both shots to give Wentworth the two-point lead (43-41). Nerney misses a jumper with 17 seconds remaining and Wentworth would go on to hit two more free-throws to finalize the 45-41 victory.
