The Nichols College women's volleyball team was defeated by Endicott College 3-0 Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action in Beverly, Mass.
 
Junior Megan Gardner led the Bison (4-8, 0-2 CCC) with five kills while senior Sabrina Boermeester and freshman Jayleen Fegan each tallied three. The Gulls took game one 25-7, game two 25-17, and game three 25-9.
 
Endicott posted a .352 hitting percentage for the match and picked up 15 service aces – including six from junior Zoey Gifford.  Senior Emma Mancini collected six kills to lead all Gulls student-athletes.
 
Three things you need to know...
                -Senior Zoe Chevrette handed out 12 assists for the Bison while Fegan notched 12 digs.
                -Freshman Sophie Czerepica picked up a pair of service aces for Nichols and is tied for fourth on the team with 10.
                -Junior Lexxus Andrews has now recorded a service ace in back-to-back matches.
