The Nichols College women's soccer program lost 3-2 to Becker College in non-conference action Wednesday night at Alumni Field in Leicester, Mass.

Becker senior Lindsey Keith was awarded a penalty kick early in the match and was able to give the Hawks (3-2-2) the early 1-0 lead. In the 43rd minute, senior
Julia Yewcic sent a ball in from 40 yards out to junior
Nicole Gidley, who was able to beat the goalkeeper to get the Bison on the board.
The game remained deadlocked at one a piece until 21 minutes into the second half when freshman
Madison Clark found senior
Kaylin Goncalves, who blasted a shot from 20 yards out to give the Bison (2-4-1) a 2-1 lead.
Less than 10 minutes later, Becker sophomore Kyra Teixeira found a cross from the right side and tapped it passed senior netminder
Brooke Downey to tie the game at two. In the 87th minute, the Hawks made a late surge and were able to get a corner kick. Keith took the corner kick and placed it perfectly for sophomore Shannon Kelley who headed it into the net to give the Hawks the goal-ahead goal.
