The Nichols College women's soccer program lost to Roger Williams 2-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon on Vendetti Field.

Roger Williams (2-5-0) opened the scoring early on with quick goal from junior Kylie Casey. Freshman Sarina Olsen was able to get a ball past two defenders to Casey, who was waiting for the ball and put it past senior goalkeeper Brooke Downey.

In the second half, freshman Maggie Hickey drilled a shot from 20 yards out to extend the Hawks lead to two over the Bison (2-3-1). 
 
Three things you need to know…
-Downey tallied 10 saves in the match – five in each half - as her record slipped to 2-3-1.
-The Bison were outshot 26-1 - including 17-1 in the first half.
-Downey now has a record of 2-3-1 on the season.
