McKinnon broke the scoreless tie 51 seconds into the second half as she potted her fourth goal of the season. With 12 minutes remaining in regulation, she scored her fifth marker off a feed from Tolley.

               -Julia Altman turned aside four shots for the Fighting Scots (2-6, 1-1 CCC) while Abigail Seay and Briana Kowolenko each notched a defensive save.
               -Nichols earned its second-straight win over Gordon after dropping the previous nine meetings.
               -Misbach's fifth career shutout moves her into a tie for sixth-place on the all-time list.
