Nichols won game one behind two kills from both Fegan and senior Sabrina Boermeester, and two aces from Veilleux. The Bison dropped the second set despite four kills from Gardner, but rallied back to post a .500 hitting pct. in the third set – including a perfect 1.000 pct. from Fegan (five kills on five attempts). Four more kills form Gardner and three from freshman Regan Richard in the fourth secured the win.

Quote
"It was good to get another win. We let the second set get away from us a little bit, but we were able to pull ourselves together and get back in control of the match. Jayleen and Megan played really well tonight, and we needed that. It was a good win and it gets us back on track." –Nichols head coach John Post
