DUDLEY, Mass. – Nine members of the Nichols College men's lacrosse program scored in route to a 20-3 victory over Becker College Saturday afternoon in non-conference play at Vendetti Field.

Graduate student
Reece O'Connor opened the scoring in the first quarter and finished with 4 points (2-2-4) for the Bison (10-4). The Bison also received 7 points, including 5 goals from senior
MacKenzie Martin (5-2-7) and 6 points and 3 goals from freshman
Brendan Coates (3-3-6). Also scoring in the 1st half was junior
Brayden Carroll tacking on three goals and finishing with two assists (3-2-5), as well as senior
Brett Stuhr (2-0-2), sophomore
Christian Baldino (1-0-1), and senior
Jack Zaremski (2-1-3). The Becker Hawks (1-11) scored there only three goals of the game in the 1st half including two goals and an assist from freshman
Matthew Guerin (2-1-3) and one goal from senior
Blake Gordon (1-0-1).
The Bison led at halftime 8-3 before shutting out the Hawks in the second half by outscoring them 12-0 with goals from Martin, Coates, Carroll, O'Connor, Stuhr, and Zaremski. Also joining in on the scoring was freshman
Jeffrey Wenzel (1-0-1) tacking on a goal, and junior
Nate Mortimer (1-0-1) adding a late up goal. In total 13 Bison tacked on a point in the contest.
Defensively the Bison picked up 43 ground balls and caused seven turnovers. Led by sophomore
Hugh O'Donnell who collected five ground balls and caused two turnovers. There was a total of 12 penalties for a total of 10:30 between the Bison and the Hawks as well.
Junior
Brian McKinley had five saves in the victory, while the Bison outshot the Hawks 56-17.
All-Time Series
This game marked the ninth all-time meeting between Nichols College and Becker College. The Bison have now won the first nine meetings against the Hawks and improve to 9-0 all-time.
