Three things you need to know...
-Tonight's contest marked the first-ever meeting between Nichols and Wis.-Stevens Point. The Pointers now lead the series, 1-0-0.
-The Bison faced the No. 1 ranked team in United States College Hockey Online (USCHO) Division III Men's Poll for the second time in program history this evening. They were defeated by then-No. 1 Manhattanville 8-1 on March 3, 2007.
-Nichols went 2-for-10 with the man advantage and held the Pointers scoreless on their four chances with the extra attacker.
Quote
"I don't think we were great and I don't think we were terrible. But, you don't beat a team like Point - the No. 1 team in the country - without bringing your best. We have to let it go and be ready for St. Thomas." -Nichols head coach
Parker Burgess
