Freshman
Isabella Portt notched her first collegiate goal as the Nichols College women's ice hockey program tied Becker College 2-2 in Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) action Friday night at Levy Rink.
The Bison (4-2-1, 2-2-1 CHC) took the 1-0 lead 40 seconds into the second period when sophomore

The Hawks (0-5-1, 0-2-1 CHC) came storming back in the third period, just 1:30 after Portt put the Bison up by two goals, sophomore Katherine Capobianco potted her first of the season with assists from classmate Cameron Payne and senior Michaela Martin to cut the lead in half. Exactly one minute later the Hawks would strike again to tie the game at two goals apiece after senior Bailey Coons beat senior goaltender

After three periods, the game was still tied, and overtime was forced upon the two teams. The Hawks had a breakaway chance to win it just 30 seconds into the overtime when Gee found a hole in the Bison defense, however Goyette had other plans as she gloved the puck to keep the Bison alive.
