Justin Perron each scored second-period goals in Nichols College's 6-2 loss at Endicott College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's ice hockey action Saturday afternoon at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Freshman netminder
Brett Epp stopped 27 shots for the Bison (3-1-0, 3-1-0 CCC), who were outshot 33-28. Senior Josh Bowes picked up four points on a goal and three assists for Endicott (3-1-1, 3-1-0 CCC) while freshman Ricky Carballo potted two goals.
The Gulls led 4-2 late in the third before a pair of empty net goals pushed the final score to 6-2.
Three things you need to know...
-Tonight's contest marked the eighth all-time meeting between the two schools. The series is tied at 4-4-0, and each school is a perfect 4-0-0 in its home rink.
-Endicott converted on one of its eight power-play opportunities while the Bison went 1-for-5 with the extra skater.
-Senior Ryan Doherty and sophomore Jonathan Waring each collected two assists for the Gulls.
