Freshman Jayleen Fegan picked up 10 kills in Nichols College's 3-0 loss to Fisher College in non-conference women's volleyball action Friday night at Boston Latin Academy.
 
Seniors Moriah Burns tallied seven kills, classmate Sabrina Boermeester chipped in with six kills, and junior Megan Gardner added five kills for the Bison (4-18). Senior Zoe Chevrette pitched in with 11 digs while freshman Lindsey Rugg handed out 13 assists in just her second collegiate match.
 
Freshman Chyna Carter paced the Falcons (13-8) with 13 kills to go along with eight digs. Classmate Yeryvel Catala compiled 11 kills, eight digs, and three service aces while senior Natie Manalo and sophomore Lia Amie combined to hand out 27 assists.
 
Three things you need to know...
                -The Bison recorded a season-high .278 hitting percentage for the match – including a .455 clip in the first game.
                -Boermeester and freshman Sophie Czerepica each recorded two service aces.
                -The Falcons won game one 25-22, game two 25-20, and game three 25-22.
