Sophomore Lizz McKinnon scored her team-leading 15th goal of the season in Nichols College's 6-1 loss at Roger Williams University Friday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) field hockey action in Bristol, R.I.
 
Junior goalie Brooke Misbach stopped 18 shots for the Bison (7-8, 3-7 CCC), who were outshot 36-6 on the afternoon.
 
Brooklyn Cenatiempo netted four-consecutive goals in the opening 29:49 of the contest to stake the home team to a 4-0 lead. Callie Flanagan stopped four shots to earn the win for RWU (7-9, 4-6 CCC).
 
Three things you need to know...
            -McKinnon's 15 goals are the fourth-highest total in the CCC.
            -RWU's Sophia Hess scored her first goal of the season at 66:28.
            -Misbach has 117 saves on the season – third-best in the CCC.
