The Nichols College men's soccer program lost to Gordon College 2-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Wednesday night at The Quad in Wenham, Massachusetts.
Gordon (8-6-0, 4-2-0 CCC) opened up the scoring in the 24th minute when senior Josh Beveridge received a feed from classmate Collin Surface to put the Fighting Scots up a goal. The Bison (10-5-1, 2-4-1 CCC) only managed three shots in the first half.
The second half scoring came in the 65th minute when Beveridge netted his fourth goal of the season and second of the game with an assist from sophomore Nate Boyer. In a game dominated by defense, the two programs only combined for 19 shots.
