The Nichols College men's soccer program lost to Salve Regina 4-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Wednesday afternoon at Toppa Field in Newport, Rhode Island.
The Seahawks (15-0-2, 6-0-2 CCC) were able to put up three goals in the first half to pull away from the Bison (10-6-1, 2-5-1 CCC). Salve Regina student-athletes Nathaniel Crocker and Jacob Guerra tallied goals in the first half to give the Seahawks the three-goal lead.
Salve Regina sophomore Owen Stevenson notched his 12th goal of the season to put the Seahawks up four goals in the 51st minute. The Bison were outshot 37-5 in the match.
