BIDDEFORD, Maine – Junior Kate O'Shea scored her first career goal for the Nichols College women's ice hockey team, which suffered a 3-1 loss to the University of New England Friday night in non-conference action at Harry Alfond Forum.
 
Junior Kirsten Sullivan and senior Laura Christie both collected their second assists on the season while junior goaltender Cassandra Goyette made 40 saves between the pipes for the Bison, who were outshot 43-26.

Tonight's contest marked the sixth all-time meeting between Nichols College and UNE. The Nor'easters have won the last three meetings and evened the series at 3-3-0.
