DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College women's soccer team fell to Clark (MA) 5-0 in non-conference action Thursday afternoon at the Nichols Soccer Field.

The Cougars saw five goals by five student-athletes and outshot the Bison 35-7 for the game – including 19-2 in shots on goal.

Sophomore Katie Barber (East Hampton, Conn.) notched the first goal of the game at 6:51 of the first half and the Cougars added two more before the end of the half. Juniors Alex Pariseau (Millbury, Mass.) and Eliza Meltzer (Framingham, Mass.) capped the scoring in the second half.

Ashley Cibotti (Norton, Mass.) and
Taylor Souza (New Bedford, Mass.) paced the Bison with a pair of shots. Meltzer had a game-high five goals to lead the Cougars.

Junior
Brooke Downey (Middleboro, Mass.) had a season-high 14 saves in the loss while sophomore Alison Carroll (Douglas, Mass.) collected a pair of saves in the win.
