CHICOPEE, Mass. – The Nichols College women's soccer match was shutout by Elms College 3-0 Wednesday evening in non-conference action at Timothy J. Leary Field.
 
Junior Brooke Downey (Middleboro, Mass.) turned aside 14 shots for the Bison while senior Ashley Cibotti (Norton, Mass.) had three of the team's seven shots. The Blazers – who scored once in the first half and twice in the second – fired off 27 shots on the evening.
 
All-Time Series
Tonight's match marked the 12th all-time meeting between Elms College and Nichols College. The Bison lead the series, 7-5-0, and the schools have split the last four meetings.
