WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Nichols College women's volleyball team was defeated by Neumann University and DeSales University Saturday at the Worthington Classic at Gallaudet Field House.
Neumann 3, Nichols 0 (11-25, 16-25, 7-25)
Sophomores
Megan Gardner (South Deerfield, Mass.) and
J'ena Baker (Rockledge, Fla.) each notched four kills to lead the Bison. Sophomore
Jayla Simmons (Rockledge, Fla.) collected 10 digs while Baker had seven to go along with three block assists.
DeSales 3, Nichols 0 (12-25, 14-25, 5-25)
Baker paced Nichols with eight kills while Gardner had three. Simmons picked up 24 digs.

This evening's matches marked the first-ever meeting for Nichols College with Neumann University and DeSales University. The Knights and Bulldogs lead the series, 1-0.
