DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College women's tennis team stayed perfect in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play with a 6-2 victory over Eastern Nazarene College on Wednesday afternoon in Quincy, Mass.

The Bison took two-of-three doubles matches to start the day as sophomores
Amarie Settiwongse (Bangkok, Thailand) and
Isabelle Leonardi (North Hampton, N.H.) defeated junior Adele Duval (Redding, Calif.) and freshman Emily Ruttkowski (Castrop-Rauxel, Germany) by the score of 8-3 at No. 1 doubles. Nichols grabbed another point at No. 3 doubles with sophomore
Lindsey Kaplan (Boca Raton, Fla.) and freshman
Juliana Herrera (Villavicencio, Columbia) beating sophomore Veronica Jimenez (Lynn, Mass.) and senior Alecia Tubbs (Rochester, N.Y.), 8-2.

Eastern Nazarene was able to take one point off the Bison at No. 2 doubles as sophomore Sharon Biondi (Barquisimeto, Venezuela) and senior Lindsey Steelman (Darlington, Md.) defeated sophomore
Megan Nathanson (Scarborough, Maine) and sophomore
Rachel McDonald (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), 9-7.

In singles play, Settiwongse defeated Biondi at the top singles spot, 6-0, 6-4.
Megan Nathanson added a 6-3, 6-3 win over Duval at No. 3 singles, while
Juliana Herrera beat Veronica Jimenez, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles and senior
Tiffany Romano (South Windsor, Conn.) posted an 8-1 win over Alecia Tubbs at No. 6 singles.

ENC's second point of the day came at No. 2 singles as Emily Ruttkowski defeated
Isabelle Leonardi, 6-2, 6-3. The No. 4 singles match between
Lindsey Kaplan and Lindsey Steelman went unfinished midway through the second set due to darkness with Steelman in front 7-6 (7-4), 5-4.
