Carlee Tolley (Chatham, Mass.) scored her third goal of the season in Nichols College's 4-1 loss at Salve Regina University Tuesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) field hockey action at Gaudet Field.
Junior
Courteney White (Orange, Mass.) collected an assist on the goal, which came at 42:46 of the contest and cut the Bison's deficit in half at 2-1. The Seahawks answered less than four minutes later to move ahead 3-1 before scoring another later in the stanza to close the scoring.
Sophomore
Brooke Misbach (Guilford, Conn.) recorded 16 saves for Nichols, which was outshot 30-8.
All-Time Series
This evening's contest marked the 35th all-time meeting between Nichols College and Salve Regina University. The Seahawks lead the series, 20-15, and have won the last seven meetings.
