WEHHAM, Mass. – Senior Brianna Kilborn (North Brookfield, Mass.) scored her first goal of the season for Nichols College, which dropped a 4-3 decision at Gordon College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex.
 
Sophomore Erin Kelley (Dighton, Mass.) and freshman Dana Edwards (Georgetown, Mass.) also scored for the Bison. Sophomore Brooke Misbach (Guilford, Conn.) tallied three saves for NC.
 
Kilborn's goal at 27:01 tied the game at one before Edwards' team-leading third marker 1:24 into the second half tied the game at two. Later in the stanza, Kelley's second goal of 2017 at 67:19 brought the Bison to within one with 3:41 to go.
 
Each team took 13 shots.
 
All-Time Series
Tonight's contest marked the 46th all-time meeting between Nichols College and Gordon College. The Fighting Scots extended their win streak in the series to nine and moved to 28-17-1 lifetime against the Bison.
