CHICOPEE, Mass. – Freshman Dana Edwards (Georgetown, Mass.) scored a pair of goals in Nichols College's 4-1 win at Elms College in non-conference field hockey action Thursday night at Timothy J. Leary Field.
 
Junior Courteney White (Orange, Mass.) and sophomore Erin Kelley (Dighton, Mass.) also scored for the Bison, who outshot the Blazers 23-8. At the other end of the field, sophomore Brooke Misbach (Guilford, Conn.) turned aside three shots to earn her third win of 2017.
 
White's second of the season off a feed from senior Brianna Kilborn (North Brookfield, Mass.) opened the scoring less than 10 minutes into the contest. Kelley's first marker of the season right before the break doubled the lead before Edward's second and third goals of the season in the second half secured the win. She also assisted on Kelley's first of the season.

Tonight's contest marked the 26th all-time meeting between Nichols College and Elms College. The Bison have won three in a row and 11 of the last 12, and lead the series, 18-6-2.
