SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Three Nichols College student-athletes were victorious in both singles and doubles action in a 6-3 win at Western New England University Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's tennis action at the Volvo Outdoor Courts.
 
Sophomores Amarie Settiwongse (Bangkok, Thailand) and Isabelle Leonardi (North Hampton, N.H.), along with freshman Juliana Herrera (Villavicencio, Columbia), scored straight-set wins in singles. Settiwongse posted a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 1 singles, Leonardi won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, and Herrera put up a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles.
 
In doubles, Settiwongse and Leonardi teamed up for an 8-1 win at No. 1 while Herrera and sophomore Megan Nathanson (Scarborough, Maine) won at No. 2 doubles 8-2.

Today's match marked 16th all-time meeting between Nichols College and Western New England University. The Bison have won the last 10 meetings and lead the series, 10-6.
