BEVERLY, Mass. – The Nichols College women's lacrosse team was defeated by Endicott College 21-6 Wednesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Sunday at Hempstead Stadium.
Senior
Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.) and junior
Mellissa LaFleur (Chicopee, Mass.) each scored twice for the Bison while sophomore
Kirsten Sullivan (Arlington, Mass.) added a goal and an assist. Nichols was outshot 35-14.
Seniors Meghan Lennon (Canton, Mass.) and Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) both potted four goals to lead Endicott. Sophomore Ali Campbell (Lakeville, Mass.) and freshman Jennifer Lacroix (Wrentham, Mass.) each recorded a hat trick.
LaFleur led the Bison with six draw controls while also collected two ground balls.
The Gulls scored the first eight goals of the game and led 16-2 at halftime.
All-Time Series
Tonight's contest marked the 17th all-time meeting between Nichols College and Endicott College. With the win, the Gulls improved to 17-0 all-time against the Bison.
