BRISTOL, R.I. – The Nichols College women's lacrosse team fell to Roger Williams 20-4 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Friday afternoon at Bayside Field.

Freshman
Danielle Kozloski (Pepperell, Mass.) scored a pair of goals and senior captain
Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.) and freshman
Miranda Smith (Methuen, Mass.) each had goals as the Bison fall to 1-4 in the CCC.

The Hawks were led by junior Kaelin Hogan (Bethel, Conn.) with nine points (3-6-9) on the afternoon while sophomore Emily Stoeppl (Brookfield, Conn.) had a game-high six goals and added two assists.

Kozloski scored her first goal of the game at 18:12 remaining in the first half to even the score at 2-2. The Hawks then rattled off nine of the next 10 goals of the half to take an 11-3 lead into the break.

Smith scored the only goal of the second half for the Bison.

Freshman
Emily Eagan (Hingham, Mass.) started the game and played the entire first half – making seven saves in the loss. Freshman
Molly Steen (Stevensville, Md.) played a majority of the second half, stopping three shots over 25:06 before junior
Jacqueline Hogue (North Grafton, Mass.) finished the game.

Senior Kimberly Bolk (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) earned the win – registering a pair of saves through 55:06 before freshman Lydia Nelson (Center Moriches, N.Y.) didn't see any action for the remainder of the game.
