Kirsten Sullivan (Arlington, Mass.) netted six goals in Nichols College's 18-3 win at Thomas (ME) College Saturday evening in non-conference women's lacrosse action at Bernatchez Field.

Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.) and junior
Lindsay O'Connell (Danvers, Mass.) each scored three times and freshman
Danielle Kozloski (Pepperell, Mass.) potted two goals for the Bison, who held a 30-11 edge in shots.

Seniors Lindsey Allen (Jay, Maine) and Sophia LaVallee (Pawling, N.Y.), along with junior Samantha Greenlay (Windham, Maine), each recorded a goal for the Terriers. Freshman Sydni Collier (Oakland, Maine) made nine saves.

Sullivan scored four goals in the first half and O'Connell found the back of the net three times as the Bison build a 12-2 halftime lead. The Terriers actually opened the scoring on a goal by Greenlaw before Nichols ripped off 11 unanswered to grab an 11-1 lead. Sullivan scored two up goals in the second half while Marion also scored twice.

Mellissa LaFleur (Chicopee, Mass.) led all student-athletes with six ground balls. Sullivan led the team with five draw controls.

This evening's contest marked the first-ever meeting between Nichols College and Thomas (ME) College in women's lacrosse. The Bison now lead the series, 1-0.
