Kirsten Sullivan (Arlington, Mass.) each potted three goals in Nichols College's 21-11 loss to the University of New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's lacrosse action Saturday afternoon at Vendetti Field.

Senior
Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.) added two goals and an assist for the Bison while freshman goalie
Emily Eagan (Hingham, Mass.) made 17 saves. The Bison were outshot 50-21 and were 3-for-5 on free positon attempts.

Senior Brooke Kelleher (Exter, N.H.) racked up 14 points on six goals and eight assists for the Nor'easters. Senior Jolena Lampron (Lyman, Maine) and freshman Anna Stowell (Sutton, N.H.) each found the back of the net four times while Korinne Bohunsky (Eliot, Maine) notched two goals and two assists.

Nichols trailed by three at halftime as Sullivan and LaFleur each scored twice. Lampron netted three goals for the Nor'easters while Kelleher registered four points (1-3-4).

The Bison climbed to within two goals (11-9) following Sullivan's third of the contest at 26:52 before UNE ripped off 10 of the next 11 goals, highlighted by five from Kelleher and two from Stowell.

Sophomore
Lindsay O'Connell (Danvers, Mass.) picked up three ground balls and won three draw controls. Buhunsky picked up seven draw controls wins to go with three ground balls.

This afternoon's contest marked the 18th all-time meeting between Nichols College and UNE. The Nor'easters have won the last 10 meetings and lead the series, 17-1.
