MILTON, Mass. – The Nichols College men's ice hockey team suffered a 4-3 defeat at Curry College Friday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Max Ulin Rink.
Juniors
Matthew Menta and
T.J. Roche, along with sophomore
Zachary Palmer, each scored goals for the Bison, who led 2-1 late in the second before the Colonels struck for two goals in the final minute of the period to move in front for good.
Freshman
Henry Burns made his third-straight start in goal for NC and allowed three goals on 21 shots to slip to 2-2-0 on the season. The Bison went 0-for-2 with the man advantage.
All-Time Series
Tonight's contest marked the 75th all-time meeting between Nichols College and Curry College. The Colonels have won the last two contests and now lead the series, 46-27-2.
