BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Sophomore
Hogan Davidson scored a pair of goals as the Nichols College men's ice hockey team rolled to a 9-0 win over Framingham State in non-conference action Sunday afternoon at Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.
Juniors
T.J. Roche,
Evan Schwartz, and
Adam Morrison each collected a goal and two assists, sophomore
Nicholas Mangone dished out three assists, and junior
Ben Campbell (1-1-2), along with sophomores
David Chevrier (0-2-2) and
Zachary Palmer (1-1-2), each notched two points.
At the other end of the ice, freshman
Henry Burns made his first collegiate start between the pipes and turned aside all 16 shots to record the team's third shutout this season.
Nichols (5-3-2) went 3-for-5 with the man advantage and finished the contest with a 42-16 edge in shots.
All-Time Series
Today's contest marked the 47th all-time meeting between Nichols College and Framingham State. The Bison have won the last seven meetings but trail the all-time series, 33-14-0.
