WENHAM, Mass. – The Nichols College women's volleyball team was defeated by Gordon College 3-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Thursday night at the Bennett Center. The Fighting Scots won game one 25-9, game two 25-13, and game three 25-10.
 
Sophomore Jayla Simmons (Rockledge, Fla.) notched five digs to lead the Bison. Classmate J'ena Baker (Rockledge, Fla.) collected five kills and six digs and junior Zoe Chevrette (Wilbraham, Mass.) handed out eight assists and posted two service aces.
 
All-Time Series
Tonight's contest marked the second all-time meeting between Gordon College and Nichols College. The Fighting Scots now lead the series, 2-0.
